ANA, part of the world’s largest private airport operator VINCI Airports, is responsible for managing 10 airports in Portugal. ANA is managed through several central teams that enable the business needs across the organization in partnership with the airport teams (i.e. Lisbon, Faro, Porto, Madeira and the Azores). ANA´s Engineering and Asset Management department, one of those central departments, intends to redefine the organization’s asset management policy. The new policy and subsequent integrated asset management system to implement, will have the primary objective to optimize the lifecycle focus and deliver added value for the organization. This challenging project aims to develop and implement solutions through collaborative work, focusing on new technologies and innovation, applying the best national and international practices to obtain ISO 55000 certification (asset management).
