Job Summary: We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our Sustainability and Workplace team in Paris for a 6-month internship starting in March 2025. EPEX SPOT is highly committed to sustainable and responsible business practices. Key Responsibilities:
You will work closely with the Sustainability manager and support her in the following missions:
Environment:
- Support extra-financial reporting by participating in:
- Data collection and check
- CSRD (Corporate sustainability reporting data) reporting tool definition and selection
- Data Implementation in the CSRD tool
- Coordination of various internal players and group members for the data collection purposes
- Monitoring of key performance indicators and suggestion for their creation or evolution
- Set up and co-leading of in-house business working groups
- Participation in external worldwide workshops within different companies of the group
- Support the 2025 carbon footprint reduction assessment phase and action plan
- Participation in the implementation of the CSR progress plan
Participation in raising employees’ awareness of the company sustainability goals through the internal communication initiatives and organization of workshops, such as the climate and/or diversity fresco
Social:
- Identify and monitor our actions with associations we are working with
Key Requirements:
Hard Skills:
- Specialization and strong interest for sustainable developments required for this internship to be at ease and continue learning by doing
Soft Skills:
- Very good analytical skills with an ability to summarize
- Good organizational skills to deal with several tasks and stakeholders
- Rigorous mindset
Good communication skills and excellent writing skills since reporting is sent at Group level
Education and Experience:
- 1st or 2nd year of a Master degree with a specialization in sustainable development
- A first experience as an intern or apprentice with similar missions would be highly appreciated
Language Skills:
Fluent in English (written and spoken ) since it is our working language.
Location:
Internship based in Paris, with a possibility to telework up to 3 days a week once the onboarding phase is completed.
