Job Title: Process Design Engineer Location: Seascale Duration: Contractor Assystem are an Award-Winning International Engineering Design Consultancy who provide innovative and cutting-edge solutions. We have a number of UK based offices and a significant, loyal client base. As our reputation for proficient delivery of complex projects grows even stronger, we have a need for a Process Design Engineer to join the team based in Cumbria. Process Design Engineer The Role: The requirement is for a Process Engineer to support System Engineering with specification and design support and handle emergent maintenance delivery issues with minor design content. Specific responsibilities: Production of technical and engineering reports and documentation. Attendance at Technical and Value Management Workshops. Site visits and liaison with Site based stakeholders. Ensuring that the functional requirements of the study are met. Supporting production of output study. A full job specification is available.   Your background Ideally you will be: Degree qualified in Chemical Engineering (or relevant engineering discipline)/Ideally chartered or working towards chartership. Proactive and driven approach to work, taking ownership of the tasks required to be completed under their remit. Team player with ability to present own view and forward thinking on study. Good knowledge and experience of site processes and procedures. Competent Report writing skills: clearly and concisely reporting findings. Comfortable working under time and cost constraints. Security clearance: Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
