Senior Process Engineer

As our reputation for proficient delivery of complex projects grows even stronger, we have a need for a Senior Process Engineer to join the growing team in Warrington. Role Description The role requires an experienced Senior Chemical Engineer to join the process team and be involved with the closeout of the detailed design and continued process support to maintain design intent via technical specifications, production of O&M manuals, support to procurement and commissioning across all the process related plant areas. You must be able to communicate well and have the drive to deliver and be able to specify design requirements. Your Background Use of Process engineering design software: Pipenet, Aspen HYSYS, AVEVA Engineering. Knowledge of the existing processes: Slurry handling Filtration / Ion Exchange Nuclear ventilation systems Process cabinets and sampling systems Services systems Compressed Air Steam & condensate Water Essential Experience & Qualifications This role involves being part of an integrated delivery team and as such being able to communicate at all levels, not just Technical, is essential. They will need to support this process ensuring stakeholder buy-in and confidence in challenging others. They need to be self-motivated, striving to deliver to agreed targets, and be comfortable working in a team as well as on their own. Post-graduate experience of designated skill set preferably within the nuclear industry or related transferrable industry. Degree qualified preferably or institute accredited. Associate member of professional institute or working towards chartered status. Experience and familiarity with designing for delivery/implementation and associated project construction and execution.  Experience of and ability to design for delivery and manufacture. Familiarity with and application of current standards within their own skilled arena and an appreciation of multi-design interactions and interfaces. Evidence of design capability working as part of a multi-discipline team. Confidence and demonstrable capability to be able to work with minimal supervision to meet end outcomes or clearly and defined targets and engage with and challenge all parties. Security Clearance Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
