Waterfront Planner

The Role:
The Waterfront Planner will be employed within the Waterfront Operations Director organisation. They will be employed within the Joint Project Teams to deliver Facility Plans and a Waterfront Integrated Plan. They must be capable of working with Stakeholders to identify risk, opportunities and potential mitigation and through the delivery of resourced schedules and succinct reports provide added value to the Strategic Programme. They must be capable of interrogating asset management programmes, such as IFS, and outputs from Baseline/ad-hoc meetings to import critical needs and constrains into the schedule. They must be capable of maintaining a critical path and highlighting effects of change and delay to the overall programme.
The Responsibilities:
Take data from multiple sources and compile P6 Resource loaded schedules.
Be able to manage multiple stake holder requirements
Be competent with Primavera P6 and how to fully integrate schedules to show an overall strategic picture.
Be able to Demonstrate cause and effect and run mitigation scenarios.
Be able to manage various parties regarding planning integration and manage a multiuser environment.
Be able to talk to Engineering and Compliance groups and be able to identify their tasks and how they interact.
Compile reports on progress, change, cause and effect and mitigation measures
The Requirements:
Essential:
P6 or P3M Unifier experience at a management level
Building services experience
Experience of commissioning M&E fit out works
Sound commercial knowledge & understanding of the cost and value of M&E works as well as construction delivery experience, should be able to question and challenge CE’s
Hands on experience of managing delivery using NEC contracts including management of change and stakeholder management
Ability to challenge on Risk register, Schedule, Cost and Quality management
Desirable:
Experience of managing projects in complex live operational environment
Experience of working in collaborative environment
Flexibility and adaptability to fast changing needs
Primavera P6 knowledge and understanding
SC Clearance:
Applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance for this role.
