Context : Decommissioning is the last phase in the life cycle of Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs). It consists of dismantling all equipment and removing all sources of contamination from the facility in order to declassify it as a nuclear installation. In such project, we have to explore tens of thousands of documents, to extract all data concerning the plant, equipment, requirements, etc. This data however, is unstructured, and exploiting it is a time and human resources consuming task. The output of this task is a set of data that we use to conduct the different studies and plan for the project. At Assystem, the Digital Factory, a group of highly motivated and competent Data Scientists has developed a solution to digitalize and explore huge corpuses of documents describing a facility of interest. Global Data Inquirer (GDI) is the solution that allows engineers to create ontologies, explore the unstructured data using natural language. Internship Description : The objective of this internship is to improve GDI’s interface to make it more user-friendly and to add more user functionalities. To do this, the intern must familiarize with the current state of the project, communicate with different stakeholders to gather the business needs regarding the improvements to be made to the interface, and translate these needs into a user-friendly web interface. The responsibilities of the intern during this internship are: 1.  Understand the current state of the interface and the project 2.  Design and validate a mockup for the new web interface 3.  Develop the web interface Duration : 6 months Studying for bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science - Course: Machine learning for data science Good skills in UX/UI development Good skills in Python Language Good skills in web development HTML, Java Script, Flask or other tools as Angular or Django Good knowledge in Deep Learning with Pytorch Good communication skills Good level in English is a plus
