Assystem is recruiting for an IT Portfolio Analyst to be based in Derby on a contract basis to support our customers with crucial contracts. This role will provide proactive analysis and monitoring of all project information (reporting, plans and resource management, risk/ issue/ assumptions/ dependency management) to ensure progress is on track. Role Details: Job title: IT Portfolio Analyst Location: Derby Hours: 37 hours per week with flexible hours Duration: 12 months +   Contract type: PAYE via Umbrella Key accountabilities in this role: Assure all projects and initiatives have appropriate and effective reporting and controls in place, in line with agreed governance standards Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure the IT function delivers an effective service Constructively challenge projects where appropriate to maintain correct delivery and governance standards Provide support in the use of project/programme management tools and techniques Key Skills and Qualifications required for this role:     Degree qualified and or equivalent experience in a technical IT or project role Experience with project management tools such as Azure DevOps Business Engagement experience over a range of IT projects and programmes Understanding of the full IT delivery lifecycle and exposure to waterfall and agile methodologies Clear communication and relationship management skills both written and spoken Facilitation skills to achieve collaboration between the business and IT stakeholders Comfortable working alongside all levels, both internal and external Maintains an awareness of developing approaches & technologies and their application, and takes responsibility for driving own development **Security clearance** Whilst we encourage applications from all nationalities, Assystem within the UK are subject to security and export control restrictions due to the nature of work to be undertaken.
