Chief Accountant M/F

As a Chief Accountant your key responsibilities will be the following: Compliance with Management Guidelines, including; accounting, finance, project management policies and procedures, financial reporting forms and formats, budgeting and budget control, internal control and audit procedures Full charge of control regarding the process of journal entries (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Accounts, Accruals, Prepayments, …) Ensuring the monthly reconciliation of all ledgers for accurate and timely reporting Managing petty cash Managing reconciliation of bank balances Preparation and control of tax declarations (VAT, Withholding, Stamp, …) Preparation of JV’s cash flow Preparation of annual budget including operating and capital expenditures Accurate preparation of monthly financial results, sending of monthly local and IFRS financial package to the central finance team in Turkey Conducting audit queries Managing all aspects of JV procurement and contract documentation Ad hoc analysis for both internal and external stakeholders as required Requirements: BS/BA Degree or equivalent qualification Qualified Finance & Accounting Manager with at least 5 years + experience in financial accounting, reporting and control Excellent IT skills (MS Office Programs; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, …) CPA (or equivalent) certificate is required No restriction for travelling No military obligation for male candidates Attention to detail Ability to communicate confidently with all stakeholders Comfortable on taking responsibility while being an effective team player working collaboratively Quick learner with problem solving skills
