Assystem Energy & Infrastructure are currently recruiting for a Project Lead to provide much needed support to our projects happening in Derby In this role you will be partnering with customers and stakeholders at all levels and will be accountable for the successful delivery of various work packages and their cost, specification and time. Therefore, to be successful in this role you should be capable of mixing project management know-how with strong communication skills. You must also be able to demonstrate that you can develop and deliver technical work packages, which includes defining a plan and managing work scope change. Role details:  Job title: Project Lead Location: Derby Industry: Nuclear/Defence Contract: 12 months Hours: 37 hours + per week (flexible start and finish times) Qualifications and experience required to apply for the role:  Strong Stakeholder Management, Planning (P6) and Expediting experience is a must Degree in a relevant engineering or business discipline or equivalent level of continuous professional development and experience (ideally in the defence engineering environment). Project Management experience, showing an understanding of the project lifecycle, risk management, cost management, planning and programming. Able to influence at all levels Good understanding of engineering and/or operations activities. A working knowledge of SAP and P6/or scheduling tools in relation to project activities is desirable. APMP or PRINCE 2 qualifications would be desirable. Ability to work with minimum supervision in order to deliver results and to work in ambiguous situations, whilst working to tight timescales and achieving quality outputs on time. Have a proven track record in project delivery and the ability to operate in a complex environment   **Security clearance is required**  Whilst we encourage applications from all nationalities, Assystem within the UK are subject to security and export control restrictions due to the nature of work to be undertaken.
