The team develops Hexaly Optimizer, an ultra-fast hybrid optimization solver, and Hexaly Studio, an innovative low-code platform for building optimization apps in days. We have 7 Operations Research Scientist internship positions open at Hexaly.


Your job

You are part of the Hexaly tech team. Daily, you:

  • Develop new features, algorithm improvements, and fix bugs in Hexaly Optimizer;
  • Provide Hexaly users with dedicated support and training;
  • Participate in Hexaly professional services, such as developing turnkey applications for clients.


Your profile

  • You are pursuing a Master's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics (university or engineering school);
  • You love algorithms and coding;
  • You have an eye for detail, you like a job well done, and you don't fear code reviews;
  • You are very organized, can follow processes and practices carefully;
  • You can listen and handle direct feedback on all that you do;
  • You have a high degree of commitment to work and are not afraid of change;
  • You have excellent written and oral expression in English.


In the first weeks, we will coach you intensively to deepen your understanding of Hexaly's products and to acquire Hexaly's software development best practices.


Your perks and benefits

Monthly gross salary between €1,400 and €1,600, depending on profile and experience, plus various advantages (lunch, public transportation, coffee and tea, etc.).


Recruitment process

  • Remote interview with Julien, founder & Head of Science (30 minutes);
  • On-site assessment with 2 Senior Optimization Scientists (1 hour);
