We seek the ideal candidate profile with:
Educational background:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic or Industrial)
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic or Industrial)
Industry knowledge:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a project engineer/project manager in an engineering field.
Experience in the mining, oil and gas industry would be advantages
Experience in managing a steel workshop would be advantages
Job Knowledge:
Basic knowledge of ISO9001
Basic knowledge of AWS D1.1, DNV 2.7-1 or ASME B31.3 (or ASME B31.1)
Exposure to exports and imports including the application of INCOTERMS
Chapter 4 of the Namibia Labour Act (Health and Safety in the workplace)
