OMA operates 13 international airports in northern and central Mexico: Monterrey, Mexico’s 2nd largest business and industrial metropolis; the tourist destinations Acapulco, Mazatlán, and Zihuatanejo; the regional centers Chihuahua, Culiacán, Durango, San Luís Potosí, Tampico, Torreón and Zacatecas; and the border cities Ciudad Juárez and Reynosa. In 2024 OMA handled 26+ million passengers. We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Airport Maintenance Director (F/M) to lead and oversee maintenance operations across a network of 13 airports. The ideal candidate will bring over a decade of experience in maintenance leadership, with at least 5 years in the airport environment, and a strong background in industrial or manufacturing settings. Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance leadership roles. At least 5 years of experience in airport maintenance operations. Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is highly valued. Demonstrated success in implementing CMMS, dispatch systems, and centralized maintenance control. Strong background in contract negotiation, SLA management, and vendor oversight. Experience developing and managing KPI frameworks. Ability to lead remote teams and foster collaboration across multiple locations. Willingness and ability to travel frequently across 13 airports. Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills. Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred. This role is based in Monterrey International Airport, Mexico. Contract: Initial 3-year appointment, extendable for an additional 3 years. Travel Requirement : Frequent travel across 13 airport sites in Mexico.
