IBS-Grenoble
Marseille, France
The IBS is a world-class structural biology institute in Grenoble, where biology meets cutting-edge computation. The Role We're looking for an M2 student to help build a new computational approach for identifying and locating protein complexes inside cells — using 3D imaging data from cryo-electron tomography. You'll work on converting complex microscopy images into structured representations that can be analyzed with deep learning tools, using data from real microbial systems. What You'll Do Build and test a conversion pipeline for 3D cellular data Work with both synthetic and real biological datasets Contribute to foundational work that will feed into future deep learning developments What You'll Gain Practical skills in biological image analysis and scientific computing Experience in a world-class research institute with state-of-the-art facilities A strong springboard for a PhD in structural biology or computational biology....
