Responsibilities / Duties / Job Skills:
Participate to project evaluation and quotes (technical support during tendering process, review of welding and inspection specifications / codes / standards).
In charge of welding development: PQR’s, Welding Book, WPQ’s, NDT, testing and analysis (mechanical, corrosion, CTOD, ECA…).
Management of PQR and welder qualification registers
Evaluates new developments in welding field for possible application to current welding problems or production processes.
Participate in kick off meetings with Client / Project Engineer / Workshop Manager / Supervisors with project commencement and as required during the project phase.
Overall follow up of on-going projects in terms of welding quality and productivity: workshop and site.
Support production and operation for welding concerns: identify root causes, assess and deploy improvement and solutions
