Aria addresses the challenge of payment terms in B2B transactions, reconciling the needs of buyers wanting to pay on terms with those of sellers or providers seeking immediate payment. By integrating our API—whether the transaction is mediated or direct—each party can pay and/or get paid on their own terms without negatively impacting others.

We successfully raised €25MM with a three digits yearly growth, bringing us 4th fastest-growing startup in FR (Sifted 50). Having captured the marketplace segment, particularly staffing and freelancing platforms where relationships are highly asymmetrical, we now count 80% of CAC40 companies among our users. Our next objective is to diversify into new market segments.

To achieve this, we are seeking a BDR to address our different segment markets: marketplaces, retailers, Vertical/Horizontal SaaS & ERPs, Enterprise.

Job Description

We need exceptionally talented, bright, and driven people. Under the responsibility of our Head of Sales (ex-Amazon Head of FR Key Account Managers and ex-Qashflo Partner/Head of sales), we are looking for someone who can think big, is also willing to roll up their sleeves and hunt for prospects in a technical/long sales cycle.

As a BDR you will work hands in hands with Senior account execs and Head of marketing to:

• Define your prospecting strategy: you will source with marketing prospecting list, qualify and enrich them, and define the sprint to contact them by mixing automation (through linkedin, emails etc… using tools such as Lemlist) and cold calling.
• Map and contact your accounts: similarly to DSP/ESN companies, we need you to map and network across your corporate accounts to identify the relevant contact to book meetings with.
• Brief senior account executives: once you booked a meeting, we expect you to run an in depth analysis of the account (with your discovery and external data) to elaborate hands in hands the sales strategy.

We count on you to provide a thorough reporting in our CRM and use as much automation as possible, therefore you will be able to make any continuous improvement you might need (processes and/or tools).

Your performance will be measured based on: The number of meetings booked and the revenue generated.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong analytical as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The role will require autonomy, expertise in sales and project management and a strong appetite for physical events/meetings to network:

• At least one successful internship in business development in successfully hunting medium to large accounts within the fintech or procurement space (PSPs, TMS, ERP/Integrator, fintech/procurement startups/scale-ups).
• A knack for managing long sales cycles (3 to 18 months) across diverse industries.
• Fluency in French and English is mandatory; German speaker a strong plus
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, basic functions like VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint; and Gsuite
• Previous experience with CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive.

Interview Process

• An initial call with our HR Manager,
• A first interview with our Head of Sales - including a sales simulation
• A second interview with our a senior AE and a junior AE/BDR
• A final interview with our Head of marketing with a coffee fit in our offices to meet the team.

This position will result in a permanent position based on your results at the end of the internship.
