About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst (Intern) to join our Data & Analytics team supporting the development and evolution of Nissan's centralized business and marketing performance reporting platform across the AMIEO region (Africa, Middle East, India, Europe & Oceania).
As part of a small and agile team, you will contribute to the maintenance, enhancement, and adoption of the platform while working with business and marketing data from multiple markets. You will gain hands-on experience in data analysis, business intelligence, data visualization, and reporting processes, using tools such as Tableau, SQL, and Google BigQuery.
This role offers the opportunity to work on real business challenges, help improve data quality and reporting capabilities, and contribute to a platform used by both agency and client teams to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the REACT reporting platform.
- Assist in validating and monitoring data quality across multiple business and marketing data sources.
- Extract, prepare, and analyze data to support platform enhancements and business requests.
- Assist with the processing and uploading of business and marketing data (e.g., Sales, Orders, Media Investment) into Google BigQuery.
- Support agency and client users by investigating reporting issues, managing Tableau access requests, and assisting with troubleshooting.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses of marketing and business performance data, identifying trends and opportunities.
- Prepare presentations and communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to documentation, user guides, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Final-year Bachelor's or Master's student in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluent English (C1 level or above) is required.
- Strong interest in data analytics, business intelligence, and marketing performance measurement.
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.
- Curious mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with databases, cloud platforms, or data warehousing concepts.
- SQL knowledge.
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or another data visualization tool is a plus.
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts and key performance indicators (Reach, Impressions, CTR, Conversions, etc.) is a plus.
