You will work at the head office of the Sodexo group, located in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, accessible from Paris by RER C, Tram T2 from La Défense and Porte de Versailles or metro line 12.

CONTEXT


Are you an English native-level speaker, interested in putting digital communication at the service of social impact?

While more than 673 million people worldwide still suffer from hunger, Stop Hunger mobilizes its networks, partners and employees to take sustainable action against food insecurity.


To support its digital communication strategy, Stop Hunger is looking for a Communication – Social Media & Events Intern to join its central team based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France.

You will contribute to social media management, content creation, and the promotion of actions carried out with more than 400 NGO partners around the world.


MISSIONS


Support the visibility and impact of Stop Hunger’s actions by contributing to digital communication, social media management and support for solidarity events, while gaining hands-on experience within international solidarity projects.

The main responsibilities will include:


Communication & Social Media


  • Content Planning & Scheduling
  • Update and maintain the monthly editorial content calendar
  • Track upcoming events, key milestones, international days and Stop Hunger projects
  • Ensure content is aligned with communication priorities and key timelines


  • Content Creation
  • Draft social media posts in line with brand tone and editorial guidelines
  • Coordinate and ensure timely content approvals
  • Adapt content formats and messaging to each platform (LinkedIn and Meta)


  • Monitoring and Content Curation
  • Monitor mentions, tags and conversations on LinkedIn and Meta platforms
  • Source, collect and organize photos, testimonials and stories (across countries, NGO partners, internal teams, etc.)
  • Repost or share relevant third-party content involving Stop Hunger
  • Support the tracking of social media performance metrics (KPIs: engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth) and contribute to basic reporting and insights


  • Community Engagment
  • Respond to comments and direct messages in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Actively engage with relevant posts and mentions (likes, comments, shares)
  • Identify, flag and document inappropriate content or bad practices, when necessary


Event-related Missions


  • Stop Hunger volunteering events on-site
  • Support the coordination of on-site volunteering events (food drives, charity actions,…)
  • Contribute to communication materials (internal messages, invitations, social media)
  • Create volunteer opportunities, follow up on registrations and support volunteer coordination on event day
  • Contribute to pre- and post-event communication (content and key indicators)

PROFILE


  • Proven interest in social impact projects, community engagement and charity events
  • Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills
  • Fluent native English, both written and spoken
  • French nice to have
  • Comfortable with social media and digital communication tools
  • Team player with the ability to work independently when required
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to support event coordination
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree
