AI ＆Finance Process automation specialist

We are seeking a Finance/IT profile for a 2-year assignment in Japan to support the evolution of Finance operations through AI, automation, and process improvement. This position is suited to someone who enjoys learning, thinking creatively, and finding better ways to work.

The main purpose of the role is to make Finance processes simpler, faster, and more reliable by reducing manual effort and improving consistency across day-to-day activities. The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding of Finance operations, along with the technical skills needed to design and deliver automation solutions using AI and related technologies.

Automation task examples could be the followings:

• Automating the preparation of Excel files that are currently prepared manually
• Extracting data from specific systems and converting it into journal entries automatically
• Building a system to analyze variances & to create customized reports
• Developing a chatbot for expense claims and related questions
• Creating a workflow for budget request approvals

We also plan to have the VIE handle day-to-day tasks in order to proactively identify transformation opportunities.
