Job Purpose: Responsible for the overall preparation, costing and submitting of quotations, and tenders. To analyze and compile data on all factors that may influence costs e.g. labour, material, special machinery requirements and location in order to prepare estimates. Responsibilities: Attend site inspection and bid / scope clarification meetings on behalf of the company as required. Schedule and lead the tender kick-off meeting with relevant functional representatives and retain records accordingly. Quantify the exact scope of work to be performed by developing method statements, material take-offs and assessing other services required. Recommend or initiate the adjudication on quotations received, clarifying anomalies and omissions, and select suppliers/sub-contractors accordingly.
